A SCHOOLGIRL figured out how to fend off a man who snatched her wrist and knapsack as she strolled to class.
The youth, 11, was left alarmed after the outsider attempted to grab her in Stoke-on-Trent on Monday morning.
She had the option to shake him off after he lurched at her on Carlton Avenue in Chell and ran into a close-by Spar.
In a post via web-based networking media, the girl’s mom stated: “She was strolling up Carlton Avenue and found a workable pace bit in the middle of the Waveney Walks where some guy has gotten her.
“She figured out how to fend him off. He had hold of her wrist and she got down to Spar.
“From that point, she connected with her companion and went to her home.
“Her mum at that point strolled her back home to me. She was in stun however OK. I fear to think about the could haves.

A Staffordshire Police representative stated: “We got a call at 11.32 am on Monday to reports of an 11-year-old girl being drawn nearer by a man in Carlton Avenue.
“He’s accounted for to have pulled at her backpack and wrist before she fled safely.
“Police have done watches of the zone and are completing requests.”
