What’s the whole incident about?
Toilet paper has become an iconic supply in supermarkets across the country in the wake of the coronavirus epidemic, and many have to contend with demand. Now it seems that people have found another way to get something: the rest stop going to the bathroom.
Eye witness statement:
According to the Lincoln Journal Star, passengers at a stop along Interstate 80 in Nebraska are stealing toilet paper. It has become so bad that the transportation department has to make some changes.
Officials about this:
A spokesperson told the sources that rest areas will now be closed when an attendant is not present in the rest areas as the people are stealing and harming the places. Truck parking should remain open. The rest areas are managed by the Department of Transportation engineers in eight districts. Some are staffed, and some are not.
