Here is what Toby Emerich has to say about this delay in release dates!
Pictures are going to bring the film to theatres on the 14th of August. He strongly hopes that the world will be in a safer and healthier place by then.
Evident, a delayed release of this highly anticipated movie has caused disappointment in fans as well as the studio. The original film, Wonder Woman, stood up as a success in the box office and defied expectations and hauled over 821 million US dollars worldwide.
This money was grossed by it just in the theatrical run. All this while, the big-screen future of some other flagship DC heroes, like Superman who actor, Henry Cavill is no longer playing that role, are in flux, the franchise of Wonder Woman and it’s star Gal Gadot was seen as the beginning of what could be the most reliable franchise of the studio.
