A South Carolina woman shared heartbreaking photos of her baby girl on Facebook, who tested positive for coronavirus last week.
According to Ashley Hildebrand, baby Ellie had no symptoms of coronavirus other than “wheezing”. The baby then cried for a few minutes on Friday morning and “stopped breathing effectively”.
The infant went through multiple tests
Hildebrand took the baby to the hospital, where they did a series of tests.
While she was in the hospital, she was actually hypothermic and they said that little babies were sometimes cold instead of feverish” wrote Hildebrand.
When the symptoms did not “add up” and the baby tested negative for SARS and the flu, Hildrebrand said that Evelyn had received the COVID-19 test It was positive.
The couple is in quarantine
Hildebrand and her husband have now been in quarantine for a few weeks without their daughter. Hildebrand added, however, that Ellie, known as the “Wild Boy”, gets stronger every day.
Ellie is getting better and better. Picu’s nurses call him “wild child”. Lol, I wonder which parent it comes from … The fan turns off slowly every day and we hope it will be down this weekend. Thank you again for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers! ”
“According to the doctors, they told me they could fight better for babies than for adults,” Baron said in a YouTube video. “My son is asymptomatic. He shows no signs that he had.”
