Minnesota Man Faces Murder Charges For Fatally Killing His Roommate Over A Fight On His Missing Gun

A Minnesota man is confronting second-degree murder accusations for purportedly killing his flatmate toward the end of last month during a contention over his missing weapon.

About the incident-

The Brainerd Dispatch revealed that Derek Sweere, 40, wounded Brandon Snyder in the two eyes with a collapsing blade before shooting him multiple times with a .22-gauge rifle and once with a .270-bore rifle. The protest expressed that the March 30 killing originated from Sweere’s .22 gauge Model 60 Marlin, which he supposedly saw was feeling the loss of that night.

Sweere apparently told police that he punched Snyder after he would not give him his weapon. Sweere guaranteed that Snyder had nibbled him and that he acted in self-protection while cutting him and shooting him multiple times, as per the Dispatch.

Sweere affirmed that during the column, Snyder stated, “you’re my companion, you’re my companion, I’m going to murder you.”

Snyder was declared dead on the scene
