A woman has been detained after she avowedly kicked a little boy so hard, she ripped his small intestine.
Cops booked Kimberly Darnell Taschereau, 22, Thursday after the child alleged that she kicked him in the stomach and hurt my tummy
Citrus County agents also charged Johnny Dakota Egge, 24, on relevant child abuse charges without letting great bodily harm to the boy’s brother.
The police officials were originally contacted by the Florida Department of Children and Families about a potential child abuse case in Hernando County hospital on March 3.
These records show Taschereau brought the boy she is cited in abusing an urgent care clinic in Homosassa because he was puking so violently.
Rushed To Hospital
The injured child was then sent to Hernando before being air-lifted to All Children’s Hospital in St Petersburg for critical treatment.
Disturbing arrest records state evidence was compatible with high force trauma being applied on the boy’s stomach in the days prior to the initial injury.
The little boy was questioned by cops a month later when he had recovered.
But Oak Hill Hospital staff also informed Citrus County cops to a second presumed case of child abuse, including the young victim’s brother and Egge.
The second child had red bruising along the right side of his face, forehead and right eye, as well as injuries all over his left arm and leg.
Taschereau insisted that she left the victim’s brother with Egge while she took him to the necessary care clinic last month.
Egge contacted her saying the boy in his care accidentally fell out of his bed and suffered a rug burn.
Egge confessed to police that he became frustrated looking after the boy when Taschereau left for the urgent care clinic.
She denied kicking little boy but officials arrested her on aggregated child abuse charges. She was transported to the Citrus County jail without bond on April 2.
Egge was also arrested and taken to the same facility with no such bond.
