Joining Superman & Lois
Emmanuelle Chriqui is set to join the cast of The CW’s Superman & Lois as a series regular.
The former star of Entourage will play Lana Lang, a loan officer at Smallville Bank who organizes her childhood friendship with Clark Kent during one of the most difficult periods in her life.
The 44-year-old actress will set join Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch on the cast cards, who portraying lead roles of Superman/Clark Kent and Lois Lane.
Set on the Arrowverse’s Earth-Prime, the forthcoming series will see Clark and Lois return to life in Metropolis as they try to balance their trained lives, superhero movements and the constraints and complexities of raising two sons.
At some point, the plot signifies the connection of Clark ends up reconnecting with Lana, whose last name is now Lang-Cushing.
The forthcoming superhero drama, which was related to film the pilot episode, has since been required to go exact into production after all pilots were dangled over the COVID-19 outbreak which almost shaken the whole world.

Produced by Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, the show is being written and executive produced by former Flash showrunner Todd Helbing.
Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Geoff Johns will also be executive producers.
It will also highlight Dylan Walsh as Lois’s father, General Samuel Lane.
In extension to Entourage, Chriqui’s Hollywood work profile also includes Fox’s The Passage, TNT’s Murder In The First, and Hulu’s Shut Eye.
Lana Lang, who debuted in the DC Comics back in 1950, produced by Bill Finger, has been played by several actresses in different movies and TV shows.
On the small screen, Kristin Kreuk depicted Lana Lang on The CW hit series Smallville, resembling in the first eight seasons of the show.
Lang was also played by guest star Emily Procter in a Season 3 episode of Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.
Lang has also appeared on the big screen, played by Annette O’Toole in the 1983 movie Superman III.
She was also featured briefly in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, played by Emily Peterson, during Superman’s funeral scene.
