Chris Hemsworth and the Russo brothers meet for mining when Netflix releases the first tough trailer for the R-rated film
Chris Hemsworth swaps Mjolnir for a number of machine guns and special operations in the first trailer for the next original Netflix extraction film.
The film was produced by long-time filmmakers Joe and Anthony Russo from the Marvel Cinematic Universe based on a script by Joe Russo and plays Hemsworth as Tyler Rake, a highly skilled and super-deadly mercenary. In the film, the rake is in the middle of a lawn war between India and Bangladesh’s greatest drug lords when he is recruited to save the kidnapped son of the Indian kingpin.
The trailer features punches and hard shots and promises a much better experience than Hemsworth’s previous collaboration with the Russo Brothers.
Where shooting took place?
The film was shot in India and Thailand and is directed by Sam Hargrave, who previously worked with the Russians as a stunt coordinator for Captain America: The Winter Soldier 2014. Judging from the first trailer, the Hargrave stunts with the action sequences from the film proved invaluable, allowing Netflix to take another exciting, high-octane ride.
Who will we see in Extraction?
Extraction stars Chris Hemsworth, Rudhraksh Jaiswal, Manoj Bajpayee, Randeep Hooda, Pankaj Tripathi, Derek Luke, Marc Donato and David Harbor are directed by Sam Hargrave and written by Joe Russo.
It is expected to be released on Netflix on April 24.
