A Quiet Place 2 creeps into theaters in 2020, resuming the story of sound-sensitive abnormalities established in 2018’s surprise box office blow. A Quiet Place 2 is the sequence to A Quiet Place, starring John Krasinski who also wrote and directed, Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe.
A Quiet Place followed the Abbott family Lee plays the role of Krasinski, Evelyn plays the role of Blun, Regan plays the role of Simmonds, and Marcus plays the role of Jupe as they traveled a world where aliens with remarkably sharp hearing abilities of the scene have cleared out a large portion of the population. The Abbotts artist lives on a farm where silence is observed at all times to avoid aliens finding and killing them.
A Quiet Place 2 was originally scheduled to arrive in theaters on March 20, 2020. That did not happen, thanks to the quickly increasing of American outbreak of the Coronavirus, aka COVID-19, and the sequence now has no announcement date decided. With movie theaters across the U.S., and much of the world, closed, for now, it survives to be observed when the sequel will finally debut. Things only look to be getting more worse as of late, with multiple states going into total lockdown.
Precious little information is yet available about A Quiet Place 2’s plot, a full trailer, and other marketing having been got released at this point. The main story appears to be set almost immediately after the original, with Evelyn Abbott and her children feeling elsewhere after their farm burns down. Along the way, they meet at least two new roles, but it is unclear if those people will eventually be friends or foes. The movie also includes flashbacks to the beginning of the apocalyptic alien intrusion.
