The Sex Education season 3 confirmed, fortunately!
Season 3 sex education is officially taking place. Netflix has announced that its wonderful but provocative show will be renewed less than a month after the second season’s debut, showing how much we still love it. Even if we don’t know the third release date yet, it looks like COVID-19 will be affected as well as many other movies and TV shows.
Sex education follows the lives, insecurities and sexual redundancies of many members of Moordale High School, located in the beautiful countryside of Wales. Here, mother and son Jean and Otis – Gillian Anderson and Asa Butterfield – help their friends and colleagues in their sexual matters. It’s Jean’s job, but Otis does it for a quick change.
Sex Education season 3 confirmed:
Netflix has confirmed that Sex Education Season 3 is underway on February 10, 2020. As reported by Deadline in 2019, the show’s first season garnered 40 million viewers during the week of the premiere, so the renewal isn’t surprising. Given the show’s apparent popularity on social media, it is safe to assume that Sex Education has found its audience.

Release date predictions:
Fortunately, Netflix seems to understand exactly how thirsty Sex Education fans are for most of the show, and has noticed the announcement of a season 3 update with a teaser. Just like the original Season 2 trailer, in which Gillian Anderson offered a suffocating monologue about the benefits of sex, Season 3 is playfully narrated by Alistair Petrie’s Principal Groff.
Since the show was filmed in the closed UK, the download date has been delayed in the project by COVID-19. Production hopes started in May as the UK government extended the blockade until at least May 7th. This is unlikely to push the release date of the third season of Sex Education from 2021, but we need to keep our fingers crossed.
Season 3 cast:
While a confirmed list of protagonists for the third season has not yet arrived on the web, we are confident enough that we assume that the characters appearing in the teaser video are back.
The series is starring Butterfield (Otis Milburn) and Anderson (Dr. Jean Milburn), along with a large cast, including Emma Mackey (Maeve Wiley), Ncuti Gatwa (Eric Effiong), Connor Swindells (Adam Groff) and Patricia Allison. (Ola Nyman). Given how intensely Season 2 has fallen into a total narrative approach, it would be hard to imagine the show returning without most of the cast repeating their roles.
Anderson tweeted on Sex Education Season 3 on renewal day.

The series follows a socially awkward high school boy Otis Milburn. Who is even more curious to talk about something related to sex, perhaps more because his mother is sexual. It is very open to all aspects of sexuality. However, Otis decides to start a sexual counseling business with Maeve’s classmate. She is a confident but troubled girl.
However, as for the story of the third season, nothing has been confirmed yet. But season 2 has created many new narratives that would be perfect for season 3. So let’s see what happens in season 3.
