Disney is now working on a new Star Wars show for Disney Plus!
Well, well, well, here we have Disney, which is going to develop a new Star Wars TV series for its streaming platform, Disney Plus. This will be done by the creator of Russian Doll, a show on Netflix.
This news was released in the press on the 4th of May, also known as the day of Star Wars, and a day of celebration for all the fans of the franchise all across the world.
Leslye Headland from Russian Doll is going to write this new show!
This franchise has an official Twitter account that shared a link to a release revealing that the director of Thor: Ragnarok and Jojo Rabbit, Taika Waititi, is going to helm the new Star Wars feature film.
The tweet also lent out other information and said that in addition to this, Leslye Headland, an Emmy Nominated Writer, is right now developing a new series that has no title for Star Wars.

The headland is going to serve the show in the form of a writer, an executive producer, and showrunner. No information is out yet regarding the title of this program of the release date.
We know how Disney Plus is already home to The Mandalorian, a live-action series of Star Wars, which is set between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens.
The Mandalorian season 2 can also be expected to release soon!
