Here is all that you need to know about the third movie with Scooby-Doo!
As all the fans of Scooby-Doo know that a third part of the franchise was about to release and was a planned sequel to the Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed.
According to James Gunn, our Mystery Inc gang gets hired by a town in Scotland who complain that monsters are plaguing them. Still, then they discover throughout the film that the monsters are the victims, and Scooby and Shaggy have to come to terms with their prejudices and other belief systems that are quite narrow.
Will we ever have a third sequel of Scooby-Doo?
The first and the original movie of Scooby-Doo was panned by the critics, audiences, and fans all alike even though it was a box office hit.
Then the second film was released later, and after this event, Matthew Lillard said in an interview that took place back in August of 2004 that there is no third film for Scooby-Doo.
Joseph Barbara, the co-creator of these films, died back in December of 2006 before he could have a hand in making the third film.
Scooby-Doo three is officially canceled, and here is why!
Even though the first two films proved to be a hit at box offices, Warner Brothers were very disappointed with the returns of the previous films. As a result, the third movie got permanently canceled.
However, the film series is going to get rebooted with a CGI animated movie from Warner Animation Group that is titled as Scoob!
This one was scheduled to release on the 15th of May 2020, but due to the current world scenarios, Warner Bros announced that the film would hit video on demand platforms on the day it was supposed to be released in theatres.
