The pandemic has affected us all, and now Purge has been delayed!
There are millions of ways in which this pandemic created by the fatal Corona Virus is now destroying the entertainment industry. Even the annual Purge has been delayed now because of the same reason.
Universal, along with Bhumhouse, has now officially delayed the fifty movies of The Purge from theatres until further notice. The film was scheduled to release in theatres on the 10th of July 2020.
The Purge was meant to get released in July, but now it has been shifted back to an indefinite date!
This is the latest shift of release date of 2020 in the decided days of Hollywood. Well, at least we have a hope from Tenet by Christopher Nolan, who is still there to launch on the 17th of July 2020, and Disney has its live-action Mulan on the list for the 24th of July.
Although it is not sure if the movie theatres are mainly going to be open in the upcoming month or not, shelter in peace orders in the New York City, as well as Los Angeles, the two more significant US film markets, are prolonged until for the next couple of months.
Here is what the plot of The Purge is all about!
This new Purge film, along with the TV series that was recently canceled by the USA Network, is set in a reality where people are legally permitted to commit any sort of crime that even includes murder.
Although this thing happens for just 12 hours, the first movie of the franchise was released in 2013 with star Ethan Hawke who took place in an affluent suburban neighborhood with a twist of a home invasion.
