Tom Cruise is considered as the greatest action star in Hollywood. At the age of 57, he looks so young, but it takes a lot of hard work for him to maintain his physique. He is now coming up with another action movie Top Gun Maverick. Recently, it was revealed that Cruise did intense training for this movie, and he had also trained the younger stars for their roles. Here’s what you should know:
Tom Cruise Put Co-Stars In Intense Training
Cruise did a lot of hard work for his roles in every movie, and he has done the same thing for Top Gun Maverick. For performing the stunts, he trained harder. Also, he put his younger co-stars through a particular training program. The star does everything with a lot of dedication to make his movies great.
Producer On Tom Cruise Training
The producer of Top Gun Maverick, Jerry Bruckheimer, recently opened up about how Cruise trained himself and others for the movie. He said in a statement while talking with Yahoo: ‘He put the actors through this challenging process over three months so they could bear the G-forces when we put them in the F/A-18s.
It was a hard slog for these young stars because they also had to experience water survival training, where they are blindfolded and placed in a water tank that’s turned upside down, and they have to decide how to get out. And Tom went through all the similar things! They said to me he went through that training just like a 22-year-old would — that’s how great he is.’
