Police have finally captured the murderer who killed a 19-year-old man in San Joaquin on Tuesday. The killer is a 17-year-old boy, and now he is facing jail time and charged for the murder. The victim and killer both lived in San Joaquin. Another shooting also took place in the same spot later.
It Was A Gang-Related Shooting
The homicide detectives opened up about the shooting, and they revealed that the boy shot and killed 19-year-old Yordy Urbieta of Tranquillity on Tuesday. They added that the gun firing was a part of the gang-related fight and happened in the area of Nevada and 6th Streets.
Charges And Punishments
As per the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, the 17-year-old boy is facing charges of murder for killing 19-year-old Yordy. The boy, whose identity is not revealed because of his age, held into the Fresno County Juvenile Justice Campus.
About Other Shooting
There was another shooting that happened at a similar location on Thursday. This incident happened just in less than 48 hours after shooting that took place on Tuesday. But there is no confirmation from the side of the officials if both shootings are connected and this incident also connected with the gang-related fight.
