As we said that Stateless had been inspired by the life of Cornelia Rau; let us give a brief introduction of her life. She is an Australian inhabitant and a German citizen. She had been illegally detained for ten months, which showed a significant review of the immigration department’s system.

What Is The Plot Of The Show?

Stateless revolves around four strangers from different backgrounds who are detained in the Australian detention center for various reasons. The show then shows the cause that led them to the detention center. This Refugee drama tackles the country’s difficult immigration system.

The four detained people include an air hostess running from a cult, a young father of three children trying to run out of a dead-end job, a bureaucrat who is trying to contain a scandal, and an Afghan refugee who is fleeing from persecution. We will get to see both parts of their lives that are what they were before being detained and what their life becomes after being detained. This show will give a chance to the audience to learn why and how they end up in this type of situation.
