Will Johnny Depp Return?
There are now very less chances for the return of Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow. After the legal battle with his ex-wife Amber Heard, it was reported that Disney decided to drop him for future movies. Earlier Bruckheimer also claimed during an interview with Collider that he is also not sure that Johnny Depp will come back for the sixth film.
Now, the producer is also not sure which means that there are fewer possibilities for his return in the upcoming film. But fans are requesting that they want to see him in the sixth film. Also, his fees is nearly $90 million, so it can be another reason to not involve him in the sixth film.
So it is recently revealed that there are two separate Pirates of the Caribbean film in the works and one of them is a spinoff. Margot Robbie is cast for the main lead role as it is a female-led spin-off. Christina Hodson is appointed to write the screenplay. Jerry Bruckheimer is also involved in this project.
