The ongoing health crisis Covid-19 has halted the production work of many movies and TV shows. But slowly and steadily life is coming on track and studios are beginning to resume the filming work. The makers of the upcoming film MCU Phase 4 movie Shang Chi and The Legend Of The Ten Rings have decided to resume the filming at the end of July. The filming will be resumed in Australia. But all the shooting work will be done with full safety precautions for the members of the cast and crew.
Shang Chi came in a particular comic of Marvel and is a superhero from China. He is teamed up with Iron Fist in the comic.
What Is The Release Date Of Shang Chi?
In March this year when director Destin Daniel Cretton went into self-quarantine, and the production work of Shang-chi was stopped. In the similar week of the month, March Disney had also stopped the production work of many ongoing projects. Shang Chi was delayed to May 7, 2021, and Black Widow was pushed back to November 6, 2020, along with this Eternals was pushed back to February 12, 2021.
According to a report, all the team members will have to quarantine themselves in Australia when they move there for the shooting. Marvel studio is taking all the health precautions. After James Cameron’s Avatar, Shang-Chi will be the next Disney-fronted movie to resume its production work. Avatar resumed its production work this year in June in New Zealand. MCU phase 4 Shang Chi will be its first superhero film with an Asian lead.
Shang Chi’s production work was initially started in Sydney in February. It has now been pushed back to be premiered on May 7, 2021. Everyone is eager for its release.
Who Be Will In The Cast?
The movie will star Simu Liu as the protagonist. Tony Leung will be seen playing the role of supervillain; however, it is not sure yet. Along with them, Awkwafina, who is a Youtuber and rapper, will also be seen.
