Disney is prepping hard by creating new back to back projects for their newly launched streaming service, Disney+. Another classic project is being revived into a TV series by the studio giant. Let us take a look at what this series is about!
Disney + Will Soon Develop A TV Series On the 1990s Classic Movie, Hocus Pocus!
Apparently, Disney is experimenting with the horror genre for kids by revamping the 1990s film Hocus Pocus into a TV series. As the original story goes by, the Sanderson witch sisters were burnt in 17th century Salem. However, after several centuries later Max lands up in Salem only to somehow bring back the three witches by lighting the Black Flame Candle.
A New Director Is Already On Board With The New Series!
After the whole mishap, Max teams up with his sisters and some local kids to save the town from the witches’ wrath. Well, to make things all the more interesting there’s a talking cat in the mix! Now, Disney hired Jen D’Angelo to pen down the story and developing it into a series. The production is still on an early stage of development.
