Fire Force Season 2: Catch Up The Updates On Its Arrival And Expected Story Leaks

Fire Force, a Japanese anime series written and illustrated by Atsushi Ōkubo, was published for the first time on September 23, 2015. The series made its first appearance in the Weekly Shōnen Magazine, published by Kodansha. Since September, the said magazine has been publishing one episode of this series, every week till the present time. 

The series is an illustration of an original story of manga comics written by, Atsushi Ōkubo. After 2 years of its premiere in the weekly magazine, the comic was inspired to be made into a series, as a result of the huge fame and positive response it received from the audience.

On November 14, 2018, the comic was adapted by David Productions and its illustration into a series was announced. 

The first season of this series then aired on July 5, 2019, on Japan News Network stations, MBS and TBS. The series’ first season was under the direction of Yuki Yase. Written by Yamato Haijim, this series is an adventure fiction-dark fantasy, comic show. The number of chapters in this comic series is currently 23 (list of volumes), as of May 2020.

After receiving a massive amount of positive reviews from the fans for the first season, the creators of the show were inspired to produce a second season. Being another David Productions, the second season of this comic series was renewed and released on July 3, 2020, on TBS and MBS, Japanese networks.

Written and directed by Tatsuma Minamikawa, the second season is also developed in Tokyo.

Second Season: Story Leaks and Plot of the Show

The show centers around the capital city of Japan, Tokyo. In the plot of the show, the time is depicted to be year 198. It is the solar era in Tokyo and the city is depicted burning. To stop the city from turning into ashes and humans beings into living infernos also called “Infernals”, the fire force and Shinra, team up.

Shinra, being a part of the Company 8, will use his devil’s footprints to save the city and fight against the phenomenon called Spontaneous Human Combustion.

The first season of the show revolves mainly around Shinra trying to save the city and ends with him going up against the 5th and 6th companies’ powerful captains. The second season is too anticipated to have am amazing storyline with more adventure and action scenes. The plot of the second season starts and revolves around a Rookie fire soldiers game, an annual competition amongst the newbie fire force recruits. When Obi tells Shinra about it, Shinra takes the news with quiet interest and plans on participating in it, after which more drama and actions follow.

The recent release of the second season of this comic adventure show was very much appreciated, though it is in the news that this can be the last season of this series.

Cast: Characters’ Voice

In the show, Gokuto Kajiwara is playing Shinra’s voice, together with Derick Snow, Sarah Roach, Kenjiro Tsuda, Kazuya Nakal, Alexis Tipton and Eric Vale playing other characters’ voice. The show is one of the popular Japanese comic shows and is well known for its action scenes.
