 Knives Out 2: So How Long We All Have To Wait For This Upcoming Action Thriller Movie

The American Mystery film, Knives out was premiered in the Toronto International Film Festival on 7th September 2019. A direction of Rian Johnson, this film is a comedy, mystery, and thriller genre. The film received a huge appreciation for its direction and storyline and made a box office collection of 309.2 Million USD. This crime comedy film has received several commendable awards and was one of the top 10 films of 2019.

This film is a production Ram Bergman and Rian Johnson (also the director of the movie). The film is also liked by the fans, because of the depiction of different states in the scenes of the movie. The filming locations of this movie are multiple starting in Berlin, and the movie has also covered the corners of Medfield, Natick, Waltham, Easton, Massachusetts, Wellesley, Marlborough, and Maynard. After the first part of the film being such a success and receiving uncountable positive responses from the audience, it was announced in February 2020, that the sequel of this amazing film is in the development process and will be coming soon.

The news on the confirmation of the sequel approaching soon was surely a matter of great excitement for all the admirers of the film. Since the update on the arrival of Knives Out two was given just a few months back, it is expected that the release of the upcoming film will take approximately a year. The creators and other crew of the film will need at least a year to get done with the shooting and editing of the film, making the presumable release date of Knives Out 2 in early-mid 2021.

The plot of the story:

The storyline of the show centers around crime, thriller, comedy, and suspense scenes; with the mixture of all genres, the plot of the show is incredible. The film starts with a party hosted by an old wealthy crime novelist, Harlan, at his big mansion, on the occasion of his 85th birthday.

With Harlan inviting his whole family to this party and it being a success, the days end. The next day with the sudden death of this novelist, because of a slit on the throat, the police don’t investigate much into the matter and rests the case as a suicide. 

However, an anonymous eye hires a private investigator, Benoit Blanc, to look further into the matter as they do not believe in the death being a suicide. More drama and crime follow when the detective learns about Harlan’s unsubtle relations with his family members. With the first part of the film being such a success of the plot of the second part is also expected to be amazing.

Starring Daniel Craig as the detective, Chris Evans playing the role of Ransom Drysdale, Christopher Plummer, like Harlan, the novelist, and Ana de Armas portraying Marta and the upcoming part of the film is too expected to have these cast members as the main characters. Together with Toni Collette as Joni, Lakeith Stanfield as Detective Lieutenant, Michael Shannon as Walt, Katherine Langford as Meg and Jaeden Martell playing the role of Jacob along with other cast members.
