Hulu came up with the Anthology horror series titled Castle Rock back in 2018. It is created by Sam Shaw and Dustin Thomason who are also the executive producers of the series alongside J. J. Abrams, Stephen King, Ben Stephenson, Mark Lafferty, and
Liz Glotzer. It is inspired by the story od Stephen King of the identical name. Each season introduced new characters and storylines which set in the fictional town of Castle Rock.
The reason has received praise from the critics for the story, acting, and direction. Now its been a long time when the second season landed on Hulu and fans are expecting a third season. So below are all the details for the potential new season of the anthology series:
Renewal Status
Unfortunately, Hulu did not renew the anthology series Castle Rock for the third season till now. But till there are chances left for its renewal for a new season. The two seasons of the horror series is very much successful, the ratings are high and watched by many viewers. Usually, the streaming giant first analyzes the ratings and viewership and then orders a new season.
Also, the creator Dustin Thomason said that there is plans available for the third season. So we can expect Castle Rock season 3 to happen in the future.
Release Date
As Hulu did not give the green light to the third season of the anthology series so telling a release date is tough. We still have to wait for the new season for a longer time. If the series renewed then the production will begin late because of coronavirus pandemic. Due to safety reasons, Hulu has stopped production on many projects. The filming will then begin late on it.
