This year, both ITV and Epix came up with the historical drama series titled Belgravia. It is inspired by the novel of the identical name by Julian Fellowes, who is also the creator of the series. It brings back the audiences when at the time of the Duchess of Richmond’s ball (night of 15/16 June 1815), which was happened in Brussels two days before the Battle of Waterloo. It is directed by John Alexander and produced by Colin Wratten.
The first season debuted on ITV on 15 March 2020 in the UK and on Epix on 12 April 2020 in the U.S. Now, fans are hoping for a second season and asking if it will happen or not. So below are all the details for the new season:
So, ITV and Epix have not renewed the historical series for a second season till now. The networks will first analyze the ratings and the viewership of the series and then order new episodes. There is still chances left for Belgravia Season 2 to happen in the future. The first season managed to impress the fans, and the ratings are also good for the series.
Earlier, the creator Julian Fellowes opened up about a second season; he said that he’s ready to write a new season. He also claimed that the first season managed to reveal the complete story, but he hinted that the story could continue.
The future of the historical drama series is in doubt now, so it is tough to tell a specific date for it. If the series receive green light for the new season, then it will appear late. The production will also begin late because of coronavirus pandemic due to safety reasons.

Star Philip Glenister, who played the role of James Trenchard, is already interested in reprising his role in season 2. He said that the shooting of the series happened in Twickenham, where he lives, so he’s open for the new season. We are not convinced regarding other stars return.
