The third season of the GLAAD Media Award-winning series Vida landed on Starz this year. Season 3 has already finished airing episodes and now some of the die hard fans are still expecting for a new season to happen, there are asking if they will get a season 4 of the drama series or not. So Starz opened up about the fourth season even before the release of the third season. We have bad news for all of the fans as Starz decided to not renew the series for the fourth season and just canceled it after three seasons. So it’s very heartbroken news, despite getting positive reviews from critics especially for the story and having high ratings, the series was canceled.
Even the series received so much love from the audiences and also got an award, so it’s a very strange decision of the network. So we have to, unfortunately, say that Vida will not return for the fourth season on Starz.
Reason For The Cancelation
So Starz has not revealed a specific reason for canceling Vida for the fourth season. Even Tanya Saracho also said that she also doesn’t know the reason behind the cancelation and she just received a call from Starz to gave a proper ending to the drama series with the third season.
