Amid the streaming wars, Showtime also justling for providing quality content and trying to cement its position. The platform consists of many shows which have better storyline and characters, and some of them are quite entertaining.
But if we are talking about Comedy Genre, then Showtime made a little more effort with Work In Progress. The show is heading for its sequel season, and fans are counting on its renewal as soon as possible.
However, there’s good news for the fans as the show already been renewed for another season. Showtime already gave the green light for sequel season and made it public during Showtime’s presentation at TCA Winter Press Tour.
So those who are wondering whether the show been canceled or not can take a sigh of relief as the show got its another go.
Expected Release Date
It is reported that the production phases of the sequel season already completed. But we are still mentioning Expected as there is no official confirmation regarding its release date. But if we are considering the annual schedule of the release, then the show could land the desired platforms in December this fall. If somehow the show could face delay, then it will likely be released next fall for sure, but we are ruling out as the show already wrapped up.

Showtime revealed some facts about the airing of episodes, and they asserted that there would be two more episodes in the next season. So the count got extended to 10 as the previous season comprises of 8 episodes.
Currently, there is no full-length trailer as Showtime only provides its viewers a teaser, which confirmed the release of sequel season.
We could expect the trailer of the sequel a few weeks before its release, and it most likely to release in November.
