Production Status

Expected Release Date
The show was previously projected for August 2020 release but it didn’t go as plan and now the show is heading for an October release. It is reported that there are still some filming sessions required to complete the rushes. However, it could take place in late October, and then the release date of the show will get pushed further to early 2021.
Expected Plotline
The show revolves around a dark world where creatures yearn for human flesh and the protagonist of the show a young soldier of the kingdom Ravka. She unexpectedly gets aware of some powers and save her best friend and tends to unite the country. The Netflix adaptation is pretty different from the books and there will be some major changes in the storyline.
