Get To Know What Monica Aldama Said About Jerry Harris’ Arrest

Monica Aldama (the Cheer Coach of Navarro College), who rose to fame by her appearances in Netflix docuseries “Cheer,” has finally broken her silence on the arrest Jerry Harris  (who is her  “Cheer” co-star.

Earlier, on Thursday Harris was taken into custody and then charged with actively making child pornography after allegations from a teenager boy through Snapchat.

Department of Justice made a criminal complaint on Thursday, in which prosecutors have said that Harris had already admitted that he did solicit child pornography of about 10 to 15 minors. Harris was taken into custody and subsequently charged by making child pornography on the basis of allegations that he himself had requested for nude photos from a teenager boy.

Allegations against Harris

It was on Monday that the allegations against Harris were made public. Then, teenager twins had revealed that they have filed a civil lawsuit against the “Cheer” star in Texas.

A spokesperson of Jerry responded to the allegations, by saying that they emphatically challenge all the allegations that have been made against Harris.

Monica posted on Instagram, that she is utterly devastated by the shocking and unexpected news.

In addition to Instagram, she also shared her statement on two other social media accounts: Navarro College Cheer social account and onTwitter.

Former teammates

Many of Harris’ former teammates who also featured in the docuseries have not answered allegations yet, but the team’s statement was shared on social media by a couple of his co-stars.

Moreover, Aldama also shared a statement on Friday through Instagram, asserting that she was completely broken by the news.

The post said that our children should be protected anyhow from abuse and that she was praying for the ones who had to bear the brunt of all this. She further exhorted to protect her privacy.

The intensity of the post could be estimated from the fact that it got in excess of 70,000 likes pretty soon. The very same post has been shared by the Navarro College Cheer’s both – Twitter and Instagram accounts Aldama too diffused the statement further – to her  Twitter followers who are a staggering 43,000.
