Denis Villeneuve does the impossible: he makes a sequel that’s better than the original. Dune: Part Two is louder, longer, and braver in its political reading — and it lands.

The sandworm cavalry charge in the final act is one of the great action sequences of the decade. Hans Zimmer’s score is the air itself.
The Acting
Austin Butler as Feyd-Rautha is the standout — terrifying, hairless, fluent in menace. Zendaya gets more to do this time and uses every second.
The Bottom Line
A blockbuster that takes its source seriously. Worth the IMAX.
