Editorial Team

Meet the editors, reporters, and contributors who write and edit The Digital Wise. Every story you read on this site is shaped by a named person — these are them.

A small newsroom can punch above its weight if the people in it know what they are doing. Ours does. Here is who covers what, and how to reach the right desk fast.

Newsroom leadership

The Digital Wise is edited day-to-day by a small leadership team that signs off on the lead stories, approves reviews, and handles disputes. Major decisions — corrections at scale, takedown notices, public-interest calls — go through the Editor-in-Chief.

The desks

Movies desk

Bollywood, Hollywood, South Indian cinema, festival coverage, box office, awards. We attend press screenings where possible, see most major releases in theatres, and pay for our own tickets when no screener is offered. Reviews carry the writer’s byline and their independent verdict.

Web Series desk

Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, Apple TV+, JioCinema, Korean dramas, and anime. Screeners are accepted when offered by the platform; that fact is disclosed in the byline strip on the review. We do not negotiate “review quotes” with any streamer.

Sports desk

Cricket (IPL and internationals), football (Premier League and Europe), NBA, NFL, tennis, and Formula 1. Match reports are filed by writers who actually watched the match in full. Tactical analysis comes with named-source reporting where the story warrants it.

How to contact a specific writer

Every byline on The Digital Wise links to that reporter’s author page. From there you can email them directly, follow their X account, or browse the rest of their work. If you have a tip for a particular writer, please email them — that protects sources and keeps editing simple.

How we hire

Staff openings are listed on our Careers page when we have them. Freelancers should pitch via Write For Us rather than the leadership inbox; pitches that follow the brief get read first.

Diversity

We are a small newsroom and our team will keep growing. The shortlist for every staff hire includes candidates from groups that are under-represented in entertainment and sports journalism — South Asian women, writers based outside metros, and people with disabilities. That commitment is part of our hiring brief, not a slogan we put in a footer.
